Cant d’Amor

The record collects four Madrigales by Joan Brudieu (ca. 1520-1591), Kapellmeister of La Seo d’Urgell, who has been influenced by Mateo Flecha. Two of the madrigals (V and XIV) present anonymous lyrics, while madrigals XIII and XV has been written by Ausiàs March, which is not surprising given the indisputable prestige in his epoch of the Valencian poets work.
