Capella de Ministrers releases the album Reliquiae, a work in which the ensemble, directed by Carles Magraner, compiles a repertoire of unpublished works associated with relics from the Middle Ages, from the Royal Chapel of France to the Royal Chapel of Aragon (1237-1437). The album, which includes 12 works, is the 70th release by a musical group with 37 years of artistic history and is considered a national and international reference in historical music. Carles Magraner states, “In this album, we recover and compile a repertoire that we aim to spread and share because of its heritage significance.” The violist and musicologist emphasizes that “behind this album is a major and exciting musicological research effort, based on the work of Maricarmen Gómez Muntané, which helps to unveil unpublished works that are part of an important historical and musical legacy linked to the Crown of Aragon and the Cathedral of Valencia.”
