CARLES MAGRANER, CAPELLA DE MINISTRERS, LAUNCHES HIS NEW ALBUM AT ”LA QUINTA DE MAHLER” IN MADRID WITH ”EL ARTE DE LA FUGA”
On 20 December, at 19h will take place in La Quinta de Mahler (C/ Amnistía 5, Madrid), the presentation to the media the latest release of Capella de Ministrers: La Cité des Dames, which will be attended by Carles Magraner and special guests as Josemi Lorenzo and the poet Nuria Ruiz de Viñaspre.
La Cité des Dames collected female autorship, responsible for liturgical music, paraliturgical or secular, vocal and instrumental. Some are better known: Kassia, Hildergard von Bingen, Herrada of Landsberg, Beatriz de Dia.. Other less, as Héloïse, Margaret of Austria and Anne Boleyn, with special attention to Hispanic composers: Blanca of Castile and Gracia Baptista, without forgetting repertoires, as the citu of Cristina de Pizan, written by and for women.
