Lamento di Tristano. Estampida Medieval

The repertoire is made up by a number of dances and instrumental compositions from the Middle Ages: royal dances (from Le manuscrit du Roi, dated in the latter half of the 13th century) and mediaeval ‘stampedes’. Lamento di Tristano is an Italian dance from a 14th manuscript of Tuscany. It is an old mediaeval corpus that also includes other dances and instrumental music (trotos, saltarellos…) and the above-mentioned stampies.
